Kerry Brooks has been a potter since 1988. She learned to throw pots in Ann Arbor, MI and has been working as a full time studio potter in Minneapolis, MN since 1997. She works primarily in wheel-thrown, high fired stoneware.
Kerry’s pottery is made to be highly functional. Each piece is fired to 2400 degrees in a natural gas kiln making them incredibly durable. Pots without glass can be used for food in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The fused glass in some pots makes these pieces more decorative and are best when used for dry foods only. The glazes are very durable and will not lose their vibrant finish over time.
